I'm McKenna, owner of Moon & Star Salon and I've had the privilege of creating behind the chair as a part of love + light collective for 7 years; utilizing my magic touch to craft unique hair for each of my guests. I specialize in blonding and balayage, personalized cuts, and vivid creative colors. My goal for each of my guests is to have you feel as radiant as the moon & stars and surrounded by love + light.
Hi! I'm Ariana, and I'd love to do your hair! I started doing my own hair in middle school, which is where I found my love for hair.
Since then, I've come to adore all cuts and color, though alternative hair still holds a special place in my heart.
I hope to create unique cuts and colors tailored to each person in my chair.
Hi! I'm Kami and I've been in the industry for 7 years, but I have loved playing with hair and makeup my whole life. As a little girl, you could find me playing in my grandma's powder dish, or helping her do her at home roller set. In high school, I was the friend who was doing everyone's hair and makeup for dances, or braiding everyone's hair before the game.
I took a brief hiatus from hair in 2020 to finish my bachelor's degree at UW-Madison where I majored in microbiology. While I still work in biotechnology, I haven't lost the craving for the creativity and connection that comes with being a hairstylist.
I strive to make my chair a safe, comfy place where you can feel both grounded and refreshed. My passion lies in precision haircutting and vivid colors. I believe our hair plays a huge role in personal identity and I'd love to help you express yours.
